Buckminster Fuller was a legend. He dedicated his life to proving that an individual could make a difference to the world and created geodesic domes that happened to share the same exact structure as Carbon C60 molecules - now known as Buckminsterfullerene.
This is how he described himself:
I'm not a genius. I'm just a tremendous bundle of experience.
I love the idea of being a tremendous bundle of experience.
He also had some excellent advice for anyone working on a communication solution:
When I am working on a problem, I never think about beauty but when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.
