Brand Tags

Noah has just created Brand Tags - a site that allows you to tag brands with whatever words you associate with the brand and then converts the brand into a weighted tag cloud of associations.

It nicely demonstrates the socially constructed nature of brands and their inherent multiplicity of meaning - putting the one word equity idea firmly to rest.

cool but not enough, isn't the problem though that we are asking people to put words to emotions which not tag cloud can solve -unless you end up with wisdom of the crowds scenario where if you have enough idiots contributing you will end up with an expert opinion. also smacks of 'one word equity' nice to reduce complexity to one word but then again i find that too simplistic.
